November 2011

The significant demand for electronic components from the solar market in 2010 has reduced noticeably in 2011.

Many electronic component manufacturers increased their manufacturing capacity in order to meet the solar markets sudden and substantial demand. These companies are now having to re-adjust their resource to accomodate the downturn.

In order to meet the demand from the solar market in 2010, Telcon worked with an Asian partner to increase volume and reduce lead times. Together the two companies have developed a relationship that enable Telcon to be more flexible and provide shorter lead times for it's proven products in high volumes.

Telcon is a key supplier to the Worlds drives market and this market has continued to be bouyant in 2011 and forecasting modest growth in 2012.

In October, Telcon exhibited its Hall Effect Current Sensors at the EPTECH Electronics show in Mississauga in Canada, a first in this growing market.

Telcon approaches 2012 in good shape for the uncertainty of today's economic climate.
